clicking sound in IE????

[Holiday]

when I'm in Internet Explorer and a page has been open for a while it makes a click sound every once in a while it's rather annoying can someone tell me why I am getting this

Its the pop-up blocker, im pretty sure you can turn the noise off in internet tools.

Im not sure but if so try running a adware deleter of some sort like adaware se.

I had the same thing but the sound was even worse, it was a series of small fading clicks. I just went into the list of all the sounds listened to all till i could to see which one it was, then i just put no sound in its place.

same, but that can be rather ticky to pinpoint. i disabled ALL windows sounds

have u recently installed a theme?

if so, it probably added a sound scheme to make sounds upon a program loading, ending, minimizing, restoring, etc.. so it can be the problem you hear all the sounds, go to

control panel>sounds and audio devices>"sounds" tab

check under "windows explorer" and try to recognize the clicking sound..
or under "windows"
