have a DFI 790gx m2rs mobo
going to get an AMD 940
i have never overclocked an amd chip before. am at the ok to not so good level at overclocking intel chips.
basically just trying to get an idea of now memory works with the amd chips. i don;'t game, i mostly do adobe creative suite stuff, but i do like my computer to be really fast. this computer is really just a cheep project until i can afford an intel i7 rig
what should i be shopping for in memory? basically are my options 800mhz with insainly low latency like 3-4-3 or something that i could run at 1T or some 1066 at cl5 at 2T. can you get 1066 mems that run at 1T?
when you set mem speeds in bios is it linked to something. or when you select 1066 or 800 or whatever does it stay there regardless of your clock speed?

if i do decide to buy the 800mhz ocz can i set the mems to 667 in bios and still get to ~3.6 or 3.7 ghz?
some one please help me understand how this works and maybe recommend some good dimms. i currently have 2 x 1 gig sticks of 1066 dominator.
