Hello everyone! My computer has been having hard drive issues. POST doesn't finish anymore. I asked Dell to replace the hard drive, and they sent one with Win7 preinstalled. Before the HDD broke, I made a few backups with Clonezilla. After I tried to restore a backup on the new hard drive, Windows Startup Repair starts and unsuccessfully tries to repair the installation. I suspect it's got something to do with the BCD. When I try to run "bootrec /rebuildbcd", bootrec cannot find any Windows 7 instances on the drive. This may be because I had XP installed, but removed it. (The OS choice menu between Windows 7 and XP remains, and was created using EasyBCD). So, I'm stuck. What do I do?
