since i was trying to help someone else with another post.
i seen and noticed something i never payed attention to.
my router is 3com office.
one of the options is cloning a mac address.
why would i use this?
Because some ISPs authenticate the service by the MAC address, This means in some cases if you change the router or your network card you might have to either clone the new MAC of your new network card to your router or call the tech support.
