Cloning or Manual Installing?

I work in a computer shop, and we have to assemble so many computers of same specification with the same peripherals. It takes long time to install operating system (windows xp sp2), drivers and other softwares.

is there any easy method which I can do? I tried using Norton Ghost, it loads the Windows but very slow when operating.

thanks in advance!

Hmmm

I think there are ways of installing Windows over a network, simultaneously. Maybe I am plain wrong, but I believe I have heard of that possibilty. Why would Norton Ghost be so slow? Should it not just clone the HDD? So if it ran fast on the first PC with the same components, I don't see why it should be slower in that case?

y u don't have a file server runing on ur place, and have all connected to that server
so u could decrease the load of all the pcs
what good would a file server be, he is trying to install an os on each of the machines.

file server

u could install OS on every PC,but u could install all the programs on a dedicated file server, which could be better if u have got some money, and it will saves problem of installing some programs on all the clients.
