CoD 4 Help

Alright I got my new computer and on Single player in CoD 4 it runs wonderfully! But now I have a small problem.

When I select Multiplayer to play online, I cant find ANY servers. I have looked and tried to find solutions to see if I can find any servers but no luck. I need to know if anyone can help me On this problem. I wana pwn some people damn it! Thanks!

i have never played cod4... but make sure your looking on the internet for servers and not your lan.

But before anything is done, what version does it say at the Multiplayer screen where you can Create a Server, Create a Class, and switch to Campaign?
The version is at the bottom right of that screen.


I believe I'm on running the latest patch, and mine is at v1.7.568.

I am now home and Downloaded both 1.6 and 1.7

But... I still cant connect, there are NO Servers so... what did I do wrong?
