I'm new to gaming - and only have 1 game. World of Warcraft.

When I play - I need to install the disk everytime. Is there a way to get the disk itself on my PC so I don't have to load the disk every time I want to play?

Thanks

there's two ways. One way is questionably not allowed but you can use a program like alcahol 120 or poweriso or magic iso to make a digital copy of the disk (called an image) and mount it using a virtual drive. Let me get you a link.

On the other hand (probably easier), you can find a no dvd patch for the game. aa quick google search should give you some. The patch is usally in the form of the executable file (.exe) you just copy and paste it into the game folder (found in Programs usually) and then you replace the original exe and poof you're playing without the cd.

The second option is alot easier.

It's sort of a gray area by attempting to circumvent piracy protection (requiring the DVD to be in is part of that) is not allowed to be discussed here.

I was under the impression that you didnt need the disk for World of Warcraft, I'm assuming you meant world at war.

This option is fine, so long as you legally own the game. The no CD example cannot be discussed here.
