cod4 multiplayer help

I have installed newest drivers for my gcard,mobo,sound card,and dx9c and i get this problem and can't get in the game and I can play single player but multiplayer doestn work

Is it a cracked copy?

I downloaded Call of Duty 4 through Steam, installed it, and have had no problems. And I am on Vista, with DX10.

Have you tried running it in XP SP2 compatibility mode? It's worth a shot.

Just wondering why were in cod4 questions. Do u need a disk to play it? if u install the game with CD.

you need the disk to play the single player but not the multiplayer.

nevermind i updated my sound driver and it works now
