COD4 ping gone crazy

Hey guys,

Ever since i upgraded my broadband connection to 10Mb my ping goes sky high in COD4 and i lag like crazy.

it was not like this when i had 2mb broadband,anyone have any reccomendations?

btw,i dont always only get 10mb,most of the time i do but some days this is the connection i can get on some late nights.

did you change ISP or just upgrade? if you just upgraded try contacting your ISP and see if they can tell you what's going on...

just upgraded mate,from 2mb to 10.

also ive noticed that sometimes youtube clips will load instant and some it takes forever

haha i know,internet surfing is alot faster but its just cod4 i dunno whats going on.
is there a way to get cod4 just to show local servers? not servers from Austrailia or somewhere far?

I don't think so, I doubt the filter is that specific. You could look on Xfire or something for a server in the UK, get the IP and connect through the console?
