whenever I go to play an .AVI file or other video file in windows Media Player it is all discolored and funky looking. I uninstalled and reinstalled the K-Lite codec pack but that didn't do anything. I'm running XP Pro. How can I fix this?

After I posted the question I googled the problem. It seems like it's my downgrade form my HD 4870 to the 8500GT I'm using for a temp card. I had to use "layers" in WMP and use low video acceleration and it looks normal.
