Cold Cathode cords

i just bought some sound cold cathodes off ebay and i wanted to put them outside of my computer case somewhere on my desk ect... what is the average length of the cord that goes into the 4 pin thing? (sorry for the bad terminology)
 
normal pc cathodes? not very long, considering they are designed for cases, cable is probably 30-ish cm long in total... you'll probably want to extend it a fair bit...
 
dont no about an extender cable but if i was going to put cathodes on my desk, i would cut the wire and put a small terminal block and use low voltage cable to go inside your case, then just put the end you cut off into another terminal block and put the connector into the transformer. all the cables of your computer are hidden behind your desk so you wont see the terminal blocks.
