color problems

i just got an hdmi cable to hook my tv up to my computer with and for some reason my blacks are purple. i know its not a problem with the hdmi cable because it looks fine in mythbuntu. also when i was using a vga cable all the color in vista were fine. i thought it might be a driver issue so i reinstalled the ati drivers but it hasnt fixed anything. does anyone have any ideas what might be causing this or how i could adjust my color?

using the ATI Catalyst Control Center you can adjust your colors. I believe you have to do that with each input you use. I could be wrong, but i think CCC has 2 different color settings for digital and analog inputs.
