colors washed out

yet another problem, today for some reason whenever I play any games on my pc the colors are washed out and the blacks are grey, my apologies if this isnt the right place for this, I really need help, it only does it when I play a game.
 
Install latest drivers, make sure the card isn't overheating, etc.

just one game or several? If it's just one, the game itself may need to be reinstalled.
 
Can you post a screenshot of gears when you are playing it? Gears kinda has a washed out colors art style so there might not be anything wrong.
