Coloured lines on laptop

Coloured vertical lines have appeared on my vaio laptop. It started with one line and now there are several. I've attached two photos showing the lines. Tried everything to no avail.

Looks like physical damage, it may be just a the cable or could be the video card. It's less likely that it's the LCD screen itself.

No it's not under warranty.

This may work
Post up a "Print Screen" picture as that is a pic direct from the graphics adaptor.
If that is clear then it's the screen or screen connnection/wiring and if it's not then its the graphics.

Does that make sense
