Combat Arms -F2P FPS

wow yeah i think i might get it haah

is there a torrent anywhere?
my internet has been disconnecting frequently, so the download would get cut short as my internet is slow so it would take ages to get
 
looks good,BUT its made by the same company that made warrock and even though warocks a gret game they could never sort out the lag and hacker problems :cool:

so i wonder if its the same for Combat arms :confused:

I'll give it a try. I am actually going to get into it to see if it has a LAN feature and stuff.

Warrock was horrible. I played it a few times and it was all hackers, no matter what server I was on. It was like, lag...lag...lag...shot by the dude that just killed my whole team...lag :P

Yeah.

I guess ill try this...not high expectations because free games usually suck.

Anyone here play it?

There aren't any hackers I'm aware of, no glitches, (It has a type of Anti-Hack software)...

Graphics are absolutely STUNNING at that low of requirements... and even at the highest, it's still great!

No lag whatsoever, even with my $15/mo. DSL connection that doesn't support port forwarding.

Overall, IMO it's the "Cheap mans CoD4" :D
 
I've been playing the past 3 weeks. I found this thread when I went to plug it :P

Sorry to burst your bubbles guys, but yep, it's got hackers, they have shit like HP and armour hacks, Aimbots, even godmode if there good at coding.

It's a great game around, I've been playing it more then BF2, and CSS.

Really? I never noticed any :P Everyone hacking, in the end I at least get 'em once...

Also, this game is really easy for hackers to not get kicked.

No spectator system, and only admin screenshots. Code can be put in place to make the screenshots look like they aren't using hacks.

This basically means if leagues want to support this game, there going to need in game refs, and shit loads of them.
 
spent the last 2-3 hours playing it. It is sort of like the poor man's cod4. But after this game. i'v definetely going to save up for a new gfx card and cod4 so i can play it. i played cod4 on the ps3, it was amazing.

I sucked though, only played it once.

Back to combat arms...some people are really good, or they are hacking. most likely hacking. And you can't buy a gun forever. It's like you rent it.
 
Just finished playing it. I must say it is pretty fun and very well done for a free shooter. I like the customization and agree that renting everything isn't the best.

It's also incredibly easy to play though, headshots knives and kills come very easily and it is a spray and pray all the way i.e. there isn't a whole lot of aiming. It kind of gets a little boring.
