Combining two computers

Tired of using two computers, want to take the software I use from one to my other computer. They are both window 10 and have been used for different reasons. Any easy way to do it so the programs are functionable? Some older programs that I don't have the install disks anymore.

It depends on the program but generally no, you need the installation disks, you can't simply copy them across. Additionally you would need to check that the license you purchased is transferrable.

As David has said, generally you need the installation media as the installation will place registry files where they need to go and other system files to make the program work. Anything requiring an activation key generally will not work on a different machine unless you contact the company to verify the old pc is no longer in use.

Depending on the app it 'might' work but it's always more reliable to use the installation medium.

Also a lot of times you can find a newer installation package off of a vendor's website or similar than an old version on a disk.
