Combo drive or reader and writer

Okay...

A "combo" drive simply is a drive that reads "all" types of discs and writes only certain types. Several years bac, a combo drive would read/write CDs and read DVDs; however, nowadays combo drives usually refer to drives that read/write CDs and DVDs and read blu-ray discs. There, AFAIK, aren't any drives that only read discs (maybe blu-ray ones) and DVD combo drives are a rare find, so CD/DVD re-writer or a CD-rewriter are pretty much your only options. DVD drives are pretty much a standard nowadays, so really, I would just get a DVD re-writer, those are cheap and, well, a standard nowadays.
