My friend wants to put Minecraft server on his mac, we download this file from http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/how-to-install-bukkit-newb-friendly.245/ for mac, now this is a .command file, how to run this on mac???? double clicking does not work, it shows up as an error, (something like not enough permissions, then he changed permissions and it still did not work. then he tried equivalent of cmd on a mac, and do it manually, in there is just says that file does not exist... where it is obviously there!!!!

please help for mac noobs, D

How did he change the permissions on the file?

Open terminal (from finder) navigate to the path where the .command file is....

run the command chmod 777 [filename] on the command and then try

Just a thought...not sure if it will solve anything. :P
