i want to buy hp G61-455. its specifications are c2d 2.2, 320gb, 4gb ram and with windows 7HB. please tell me about its performance, my use is to only check e-mail and official work like ms word, excel and power point.
is there any manufacturing fault in it?

please guide me about this model of HP.

There are so many laptops which you can buy low price. If your usage is only e-mail checking and official work like ms word, excel and power point. My suggestion is Compaq, Hp, Toshiba laptops are good for you.

Why do folks have such a hardon for HP? HP (includes Compaq) has sucked for the last 2+ years.
