COMODO firewall alerts every day when AVG updates

Could someone explain if I am doing something wrong. Everyday my Comodo firewall has 5 or 6 alerts when my scheduled virus software(AVG free) updates, even though I check the boxes "allow this request" and "remember my answer". I am wondering if I should check the box that says "treat this application as an updater"? Or is this something that just has to be done everyday? Thank you.

Are you sure you've moved all executables associated with AVG to "My Own Safe Files"? I think you should check the "treat this application as an installer or updater" option, though I think it'd be just easier to run AVG update in training mode.

Thanks, I tried clicking on "treat as updater" and received a general error message saying that I did not have enough free memory. I did not know how to check the executables as you suggested. Also I don't know how to update in training mode. Would you be so kind to explain.

Double-click the COMODO icon iin your taskbar, and have a look down at the box that says "Proactive Defence"

First, have a look at the line "The defence+ security level is set to Clean PCmode" (I assume that's what it says).

Click the link, and you can choose between several different modes (Choose Training mode). In training mode, it "learns" activites of all other programs. While in training mode, run AVG updater. After this, you may want to set it back to Clean PC mode.
