Comp de-oc'ed itself.

I had my a64 3000+ running at about 2250 mhz, for at least a couple of weeks. I just checked out cpuz and mbm5 and my cpu is back to the stock 1809 mhz. I havnt even been into the bios for a couple weeks. What the heck happened?

MOBO - DFI Lanparty Ultra-D
CPU - AMD A64 3000+
PSU - Ultra X-connect 500w
 
My comp does the same thing, i tihnk if ur comp crashes or encounters a certain problem it auto de-oc. It also de-ocd after not using the comp for a week.
 
Check you bios battery, if you lost power and your battery wasn't working then bios would be reset. That the only reason i can think of right now
