Compabality question

Hello i plan on upgrading my mobo so i could support a cd2 cpu.. question is, once i looked the specification my head started growing tumour..
i have low understanding on the newest hardwares n their compabality issues.. Well i just wanna play WoW without much lag so a entry level cpu like E6750 is sufficient.. as for the mobo , i need some clarification on stuffs like fsb, chipset model and nm ..

one i looked throughly for my tight budget is

gigabyte
GA-G31M-S2L
Intel® G31 + ICH7 Chipset

1. Supports Intel® Core™ 2 multi-core and 45nm processors
2. Solid capacitors design in CPU VRM
3. Dual Channel DDR2 800 for outstanding system performance
4. Integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3100 (Intel GMA 3100)
5. Integrated SATA 3Gb/s interface
6. Features high speed Gigabit Ethernet
7. Integrated High Definition audio

as for cpu, perhaps E2140 - E6750 could do?

judging the quality of my typing certainly im not from us :)

i have only the very fundemental knowledge on overclocking which is step up the multiplier speed on bios proportional with core voltage until blue screeen appears i suppose?
that cpu looks awesome though,, my mate reccomanded me a e2180 and oc it to 3ghz (nearly twice the stock speed)

well my main concern is which mobo i should choose from.. what are supported chipset model and fsb?

How about a P43 chipset Mobo? They usually have 4 x RAM slot which better for upgrade, and it have PCI-E x16 2.0 for graphic card. And better overclocking than G31.

For CPU, it all depends on budget. May be a E5200/ E7300/E8400?
