came into my shop, I suspect surge. when you turn on goes through start up, the comes up with disk read error occured, ctrl alt delete. I can get into the bios and restored defaults, same problem, I installed a new power supply, same proble, I tried a new hard drive with xp on it, same problem. fans work, lites work. andy answers. cpu or mother board gone???? is there a way to test with out installing new also could some one tell me on this machine what cpu socket it may have???????????????thanks a head of time this is my first question on this forum......
