Hi. We got a couple compaq 2100us laptops....one was good but the other was junk....broken mobo....anyway the broken one had a wireless card (Intel WM3B2200BG) in it so we swapped it to the other one and downloaded drivers for it from a differnet computer....
It recognizes it as wireless and installed right away. It just will not detect any wireless network....even if the router is RIGHT next to the computer.....
There are 2 wires, black and white labeled MAIN and AUX, and we don't know what to do with them....They are plugged into the card correctly (we've double checked them) and again, right next to router= nothing.
What should we do? It was working fine in the other 2100US....
