Compaq 5000

I have a compa1 presario 5000 P4 1.7 ghz, and i want to know if i can take the insides out and put it into a new atx case that can hold up to 12" mobo's....plz tell me if its possible, or if anyone knows if the compaq presario 5000 mobo is atx? plz its important...thanks [email protected]

hard to tell, best thing you can do is open it up and take a look. atx mobos are typically 9.6" w x 12.00 L

most cases also offer multiple screw or standoff positions. also make sure that the rear i/o plate will work or is changable.

You can most likely install that into a "normal case" and the motherboard is most likely mATX
