Compaq bRecovery Disc

I have a Compaq 5441 desktop. I need to return it to its original factory installed software configuration. I have tried HP website but can not find a Compaq Recovery CD. Can anyone tell me where I might find one? Thanks mailliw

i know dells come with a 7gb partition with an image of the original factory installed config. not sure if compaq has something like that. did your computer come with any back up cd's? if so you can just pop in your windows xp cd and start reformatting.

Find all the drivers you need from www.hp.com and save them all to a disk. Reformat the drive and install all the drivers, factory settings restored. Programs are a different matter though.
