hi, i have a compaq evo n600c, i would like to upgrade the RAM, processors and hdd(which i believe can only be 40gb or less). i am then going to install windows 7 on it. does anyone know where i can get these parts (in the u.k.) and does anyone have any other suggestions. I do a lot of photography, so the main reason i have decided to keep this laptop is for when i'm on holiday, so i can store my pictures and edit them using photoshop cs3. will i need to upgrade the graphics card as-well?
thanks.

Assuming that The Google results that I have found are correct, you have very few options on the processor upgrades. The info that I found states that you have a 1.2 GHZ PIII mobile processor and MAX of 1 GB of RAM. You also have a ATI Mobility Radeon, 64-bit video graphics with 32 MB DDR SDRAM video card. I can not tell you if that is on board or discrete. The PIII uses socket 370. The fastest 370 socket processor is the 1.4 GHZ PIII codenamed Tualatin.
Windows 7 requires 1 GHZ and 1 GB ram. you can check the requirements here.
