Compaq Proliant 800

Hi,
I need to upgrade my compaq proliant, so i need the following info.
1) What kind of RAM is used in it. (My guess is PC-100 SD RAM)
2) Which is the best SLOT1 Processor I can place in it. It is a DUAL PROCESSOR system. (My guess is P3 500MHz)

1. 64MB of PC-100 it what it comes with, upgradeable to 1GB
2. it can take at least a P3 600

I tried a P3 500Mhz, but it didn't work. The system would start and then automatically shut down,... and then start again and shutdown,...
