compare graphics card

the 1GB card is a 5670, I have the 2gb card which was given to me and was hoping to install it as an extra GPU but my board only takes 1 gpu.

They're both pretty weak and not great for gaming.

Are you doing gaming with these cards?

I am trying to i have a Packard bell i smart have upgraded the psu to 600 w and got the 1gb GPU a while ago it cost bout 130 as well! just put 3.1 x2 cpu in and 8 gb ram plus an extra 1tb hdd. I was given the second gpu, the plan was to install both and link them together but my motherboard only supports 1, so i was wondering is it worth swapping the 1 gb for the 2gb?

The RAM is usually not the most important factor when determining the speed of a graphics card. The GPU itself is.

Now, the 6570 is probably better card than the 4670, but it's still not great.

What's your budget? I'll help you decide on a good card. :)

What resolution do you play at?

If you already have both cards, install one, run 3DMark11 three times and get an average score. Then repeat for the second card. If they make a large difference, test them in games and see which one you prefer? If you play mid-tier games that don't require large textures then the VRAM won't matter much. Either way your overall gaming experience will be determined by the faster Vcore card, probably the 6 series card.
