comparing video cards

i think 2 6600gt wuld be stupid. it leaves no room for expansion and it isnt that powerful.

i wuld take the option to add 1 7800gt for 119 dollars. then u can upgrade in the future.
 
well if ur getting the comp from ibuypower, i dont think any of those mobos come with AGP. so an AGP card wuldnt work.
 
umm... yea dont get an AGP card either way. theyre more expensive... because they want people to upgrade to the better slot obviously.
dual 6600s or dual 6600gts? theres a BIG difference in performance.
yea definitely get the 7800gt. its the best thing you'll get for the price.
 
yea im thinking about putting my old geforce back in my computer i have now.... buying the new computer from there with the 7800gt and then selling my x850 for like 250

Yeah, the only benefit of the 6800XT is that you can unlock it.

And the X850Pro should be better (as everyone's said).

yea, and even unlocked it wont perform as well just because of the memory clock and the fact that its still 128-bit memory like on the 6600gt.:P
