Compatability Check

It's me again! I am getting much better at this motherboard thing I believe.

So given my computer Hp a1106n and my motherboard specs. Motherboard specs I have pretty much determined what I need. So I glanced on ebay and found something that I wanted Intel D925XBC Motherboard PCI-E Micro ATX LGA775

I did my best to match its compatability and now I need a bit of help before I can consider this a fit.

Its 9.6 by 9.6 which is exactly what I need.
It matches the Socket: LGA775
It Supports processor up to 3.4 GHz
It Supports Intel Pentium 4 HT processors.

So far so good. Then I come upon my current concern. The chipset. Based off the information on my computer my chipset is as follows:
Northbridge: Intel 915GV Graphics Memory and Controller Hub (MCH)
Southbridge: Intel ICH6

The one on ebay is:
Intel® 925X Chipset

That is currently the only problem I am having. So if anyone can possibly double check that im not missing anything, or can anyone tell me if it will work even though this ebay card has a different chipset?

After reviewing this, I think I might be comparing the specs of my current motherboard to the new one, im really not sure this is all new to me and I am still learning, so if im comparing irrelevant information just laugh at me and disregard the question posing irrelevant information. :)

The 925X is the same generation chipset as the 915G. It supports your CPU as do newer chipsets like the 945 and 955 as well as the newest 965 and 975 (which would probably be better for you as they would allow you to upgrade your CPU without having to buy another new motherboard).
 
Thanks Cromewell. So if the chipset doesn't matter what is it that I should be looking at to make sure its compatible. I know it supports intel 4, and the ddr2 sdram memory and it goes in the lga775 socket. oh and its 9.6 by 9.6 which is what my current one is. Is that all I need to know?
 
Mainly the size of the board, all current 9xx chipsets from Intel use DDR2 (some 915s used DDR but you don't see them much anymore) and the LGA775 is the socket Intel will be using for a while longer.
