Compatibility for IBM Netvista 8303

I need to find a video card that is compatible with my IBM Netvista 8303. I've looked around and can't find the information and I assume, like other hardware, that I can't just buy one and throw it at my computer. Also, I need to figure out the size of the RAM I have, it's PC2100 DDR SDRAM, but I'm not sure how big it is. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
 
What?? Those are just like any other computer. It all depends if you have an AGP slot, or just PCI. Basically the same with RAM, any DDR RAM should work.
 
If you have a PCI express slot, you are only limited by the power of your power supply
If you have an AGP slot, you are limited to the X850XT or the 7800GS cards ($300)
If you only have PCI slots, you are limited to the 5700LE.
 
Now, I'm pretty sure this computer was originally designed for office use, it won't overheat with a little better hardware will it?
 
Depends on what "a little better hardware" is, in your mind. But I have no clue where you got that idea. I had an old IBM and it'd get WAY too hot. I suppose never overheating, but definetly toasty
