Compatibility with AMD3 Cpu fan and AMD3+ Mobo.

Hi, I have a quick question. I'm building a new rig, looking at this motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131733

So an AMD3 cpu can be run by this correct? I'm using a Phenom II x4 cpu and want to use this aftermarket cpu fan/heatsink: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835118046

The fan is compatible with AMD3 cpus, like the one I'm using, what I'm worried about is the motherboard. Is there a huge physical difference between AMD3 and AMD3+? Do you think this fan will fit the motherboard's cpu socket?
 
First off, it's only AM3/AM3+ - there's no D in the socket name.

All AM2/AM2+/AM3/AM3+ sockets use the same heatsink.
