Processor: Intel Core i7 Processor Extreme 975

Motherboard: Asus P6T LGA 1366 Motherboard

Video Card: GeForce GTX 295

Hard drive: 2 x Western Digital 10,000RPM, 300GB SATA Hard Drive in RAID 0

Are all these components compatible, with one another? All recommendations welcome, are there any better future proof motherboards, that I would be interested in? Also need recommendations on a good ram manufacturer.

Yes.

I recommend Corsair memory.

That processor is overkill and unnecessary. A Core i7 920 is more than anyone needs.

if you're just using this for gaming, i have to agree you're probably wasting money on that processor. the only benefit you'll see from that is faster encoding times, and other processor intensive applications.

I'd recommend the i7 920 D0 less expensive, OCZ reaper is nice RAM and stays nice an cool, I have no trouble with mine and it's fast.
