compatible even tho its dual channel?

Socket 939 mobos are not much more expensive. I got mine from Gigabyte as well and paid very little for it. You will save some money on the graphics card if you intend to use it because PCI-Express cards tend to be cheaper than their AGP equivalents.

yea well, i just want to replace my currrent set up becuase its reli giving me problems. this pc isnt for gaming and stuff, just work work and download and storage of files. so i dont need a reli good setup for it. but thanks a lot guys.

OMG today when i turned it on, it gave me a BIOS CHECKSUM ERROR.. i was like.. wtFFF o hell no, thats it, you are gonna be replaceddd.. lol

There can be an earthload of a difference depending on where you buy

Just reset it and flash again :)
