Hello I am planning on building a cheap gaming pc and was wondering if these parts work together. And if they happen to how powerful would it be, Could I play recent games on it?

CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor ($109.99 @ TigerDirect)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2 Micro ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($47.49 @ Newegg)
Memory: Corsair 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1333 Memory ($74.34 @ NCIX US)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($59.98 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: PowerColor Radeon HD 7790 1GB Video Card ($109.99 @ Newegg)
Wireless Network Adapter: Encore ENUWI-1XN4M 802.11b/g/n USB 2.0 Wi-Fi Adapter ($8.80 @ Amazon)
Case: Gigabyte GZ-P5HB5C (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case ($23.99 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: Corsair Builder 430W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($19.99 @ Microcenter)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit) ($81.99 @ NCIX US)

Depends on what games you want to play and what resolution. The 7790 isn't the strongest card and I'd probably look at getting maybe an R9 260X or R9 270 instead since they're newer and slightly more powerful and maybe a slightly bigger PSU - Corsair CX500M.

I'd also get the FX-8320.

Then spend a bit more and get one that the 8320 does work with - the 970 boards should work with the 8320.

There are some 760G boards that work with 8 cores too, but I heard that peopel had throttling issues.

The reason the lower end boards just support 95W processor are they have a lower end power phase setup and will run hot.

Lol I have no idea what you guys are talking about, plus I'm on a budget so I can't afford anything higher. Also was planning on playing Skyrim and Borderlands 2.

I would throw alittle more in it and get a good 970 board. Plus you will get burned out on the 7790 after awhile. Which would mean more for a board/card and power supply. If you saved alittle longer you will be a lot better pleased later on.

I agree. Always best to buy it right the first time round... trust me on this. ;)

Sorry to be annoying but can you post a link to the board I need I have no idea I'm bad at computers, but hope to learn more in the future.

My list of games that I wish to play.

Skyrim
Borderlands 1/2
Banished
Just Cause 2
Fallout 3/New Vegas

How many of these could I play on high/medium settings and be enjoyable?
