Compatible with this processor ?

It would be a good idea to use the bios ver. for the processor:P. Without the right bios, some boards will boot just fine and even recognize the processor. Some will boot and call it a unknown processor. Some wont boot at all. Even with the first two, update the bios to the one that supports it.

Yup! Should work great... and I'd highly recommend that mobo... I've got one (not with a Phenom CPU though) and it's a great budget board.

The Phenom II fits the AM2+ socket so any board with that socket will work. That particular board has been known to have some issues with older Phenom processors. I haven't heard anything about the Phenom II. If there is a new BIOS that supports the Phenom II then that should handle any issues. If not, I'd look for a board that does. In the ASUS line, the boards with the term "pro" in the model name are usually more versatile and they even have more I/O. It's usually worth a few extra bucks to get the "pro" models.

Just wanted to point out that just because it fits doesn't mean it works or is going to work.

Incompatibilities can occur with boards based on any socket. It is always possible to find incompatible components. My point was that the Phenom II uses the same socket as the older Phenoms. If the board supports the older Phenoms then it should support the Phenom II with a BIOS update - or perhaps even without it.
