What does SATA 300 mean? I was concerned because the motherboard says SATA 300 and the drive says SATA 150.

SATA 300 is the SATAII standard, it is compatible with SATA 150

Just as it says... "SATA2" It's just like ATA33, 66, 100, 133, etc... It can handel SATA2 drives. You can read up in the manual to double check but I SERIOUSLY doubt it wouldn't be backwards compatable seeing how rare and expensive SATA2 drives would be still...

Its compatible. (The SATAII spec says so if i recall correctly)
