Complete I\O Shut Down? What happened?

Hello, everyone. About a month ago, I installed Xp Pro on my Compaq (see below for Sys. Info.) and everything was running fine. Then, out of nowhere, all of my input devices (screen, optical mouse, keyboard) were showing "no signal" and no response to the computer even being on. I'm not sure if the CPU's shot or it's the MoBoard, but I really have alot on that computer that needs finishing. It also is the only "good" computer I have (replacing hard drive into another computer isn't a great solution)

Make: Compaq

Ok, Firstly, i would remove your ram (REMEMBERING WHICH SLOT YOU TOOK EM FROM)

And re-inserting them in same slot firstly (after blowing away all dust)

Then, if that doesnt do anything, Try inserting ram one at a time, trying every combination possible,

if not, Put all ram back in,

Remove every thing you dont need to boot from back of PC

USB Drives Ect..

If no good, this may sound wierd, But Remove Keyboard from back of computer

Try booting.
 
Thanks for the help, but unfortunately, nothing happened still. I still need help from anyone else with ideas/solutions?
