Complete random computer shutdowns?

Ok I need your ideas on this one guys.

Long story made short. I had a graphics card that came with the computer (not a integrated one) but the fan went out making it over heat. Never could find a replacement fan so I just got a new card. When installing the new card it would not work. Found out that I need to Bios flash to get the newer card working on my older MotherBoard. With this done I was able to get things working like they should. Until I started having total and complete computer shutdowns. It only normally happens when I am doing a game. But as of this morning it also happened when I was trying to compress files, and had nothing that would rely on the graphics card running. I never had this problem before the new card and Bios flash. I have gotten into the windows 7 crash reports/system reports and have found nothing. It just shuts down with out leaving any kind of error message. As well I know this is not a ram problem as I have opened up a program which I know makes my computer crash and watched my ram usage with taskmanager as I waited for it to crash. I had 3gb extra the entire time. As well I never seen my CPU spike ether.

I'm quite lost as to what is going on here. Any help?

Specs are in the notepads. saving you the time of having to read them if you don't want to

How old are this psu?
And can you please give us the bios reading for the +12V rail?

that seemed to have Solved it. I guess I need to open up and clean my computer more often when we have a few weeks of dryness. The heatsink was covered in dust. Normal temps dropped from 70c while Idle to 30-50c :)

Was able to play for 2 hours with no downtime. (good compared to the crashing after MAYBE 5 minutes like before)
Will post again when I have the chance to play for longer to check and see if the problem persist.

Good!

Dust build up, is one of the computers worst enemys.

Sealing up any not in use fan holes and other similar openings in the case + getting a washable fan filter for the intake fan or fans will help a lot.

I live on a gravel road in Kansas. So I get a lot of dust, the last few weeks have been abnormally bad though. Any parts I should look into to build a good dust stopper?

As said, dust filters for the front intake fans and seal up all unused holes and eventual side vents. That is still the best way to stop most of the dust creeping into the case. And the sealing job, will improve the case airflow in it's turn. As for dust collection, the worst place to have the computer is on the floor. And even worse is on a carpet too. I know that some people complain about that if you have the box on a table? There will be vibrations. But if you put the computer on a steady block of styrofoam or similar, that will cure this problem. Or if aesthetics are important? Get some thicker computer case feet.
