Complete wipe of my HDD

I'm planning on selling my HDD, but i want to completely wipe everything off if.

So far I have encrypted all of the files and did a full reformat.

I tried using DBAN, but it said it was going to affect every HDD in my computer (not good). Is there any other program you would suggest for overwriting?
