Completed Build - Did I buy the right monitor?

The hardest decision I've had to make while choosing the parts for my computer has been the monitor. After some thought I've ordered the following monitor:

BenQ XL2720Z 27in

I haven't picked it up yet (it won't be ready until Tuesday), and to be honest I'm worried I made the wrong decision. Here are my primary worries:

1. 1920x1080p resolution on a 27 inch. Is this going to be noticeable? I sit fairly close to my computer, and I'm used to a 25 inch monitor I've had for quite some time. However I'm getting a bigger desk so I should be able to move it a couple of feet away at least. Maybe I should get the 24 inch instead...I just don't know.

2. It's a TN panel. Should I be looking for an IPS instead?

If you awesome folks could enlighten me about what I should do I'd be so very grateful :) Also any alternative monitors you recommend in the same price range (preferably available from NCIX) I'd love to hear them!

I think you'll probably be fine. Your pixel density will be a bit lower than what you'd find on a 24 inch monitor but it'll still look fine as long as your eyes aren't pressed against the screen.

Glad to hear that, thanks Denther. I'm gonna stick with the 27"
