Well some idiot changed the compressed folder to wordpad, so everything thats supposed to be a compressed folder opens as a wordpad document, or doesnt open at all. Anything I can do to change it back? And by the way, I can't use the browse button and type in compressed folder, because even if there was a compressed folder icon, it would be changed to a wordpad document, since every folder on my comp changed.

Yep thats a simple file name association problem
All you need to do, is go into My computer and click on
Tools -> Folder Options
Then click on File Types options, then look for .zip extension and make it so that it is not Wordpad no longer and look for the "Compressed (zipped) Folders" options and that should sort it.
