Hey please help with my problem, I use fraps capture to capture videos of me on my computer games but it saves the files with very very little compression so that it does not lag the game, this means the files are about just over 10mb for each 1 sec of film. So as you can gues I quickly clocked up 2gig of the stuff. Now when I try to compress these files I get an error I have used many programmes trying many codecs and what ever file I try it on I get an error that says e.g for divx " The divx converter cannot encode the input file C:/Name+locationoffile... because it contains an invalid video stream. What does this mean. I would do it with windows movie maker but I dont have thison my computer. When trying to convert with virtual dub I get errors using divx, cinepack and afew other codecs, please help I spent like 8 hours trying to compress these without any luck
