compresss JPG

I want to compress many pictures inside a folder.
can you tell me some portabled software which can apply for folder.

JPEGs are already compressed, there's no point in trying to compress them any further. If all you want to do is archive them, Windows can handle ZIP files natively without any extra software and most other OSs read zips as well so that would be a pretty safe choice. Still, I'd much rather just lug the folder around.

I don`t know of one that does a whole folder in one go, but you could try this portable photo resizer, very good and easy to use.
