Hi, i have been having some major problems with my new set up. Every time i play a game such as MW2, Black Ops or MW3, my computer shuts down and a strange noise comes from my headphones. I have looked everywhere but cannot find an answer. i Have even send my motherboard back to ASUS and the problem is still here. My set up is,

Intel i7-2600K @3.4GHz CPU
Asus P8Z68 Deluxe Mobo
CoolerMaster v8 heatsink
16.0gigs Memory
Antec 750W PSU
Gigabyte HD6850 1G GDDR5 graphics card
3 case fans
2 Harddrives (one 2TB, and one 500gig)
64bit OS

Possibilities are

1. video card
2. PSU
3. overheating

Only way to tell is to try different parts and see if it still happens.

Also you said you were getting noises from your headphones. I would check to make sure you used the correct amount of standoffs for your motherboard and actually put them in the correct places in the case. That board requires 9 standoffs.

I've attached a picture of the mobo with where the standoffs and screws go.
