compujter wont turn on

so i plug in my bro computer one time and i saw sparks in his power supply....im not familar with computers so what could have happen? i cant let him find out....

You could have fried something. Did anything smell...burnt? Or bad? If yes, you might have fried a component, only testing will say which. The PSU is most certainly dead.

That was the power supply giving up for good.

so what would i have to buy? it seems back of the powersupply is where i seen the spark, i plug in into this multi plug thing and bam, spark behind the power supply, so will a new supply fix this.

Yep, just look on the side of the old one and get another one of the same (or higher) wattage. Screw it in and the system will be running again, Also read the PSU, If it says ATX on the side make sure you get another ATX psu.
