computer acting weird need help

Ever since i installed my 5770 my computer with like go to "sleep" it seems like if i let it sit for about 15min. Well normally when it goes to sleep i move the mouse and the computer powers back up and is just fine. since last night when it goes to sleep and i move the mouse the computer comes back on but wont show anything on the screen. so i checked to be sure all cables were connected good and everything but still wouldnt show anything. So i put my 8800gtx back in and it powered right up, then i put the 5770 back in and it powered up and worked fine?? im so confused on why it does this. Just about 20min ago it happened again and i moved the mouse and it turned back on but nothing on screen so i removed the 5770 out of the pcie slot for bout 30sec then put it back then turned pc back on and it was working fine. im not sure whats going. im thinking its the gpu or mobo or the pcie slot thats causing this promblem but im not sure.

power management could be acting funny with the card. is it overclocked? when i had my 460 oced with power management enabled, it would act stupid. it got so bad that it made windows unstable, i had to remove the nvidia performance thing to the nvidia control panel to get things stable, not sure if your doing a similar thing with your system.
 
try uninstalling and reinstalling the video drivers, it sounds like you dont have a clean install of your video drivers.
