Can you log in as administrator? If you can you could try the system restore to go back before the new account was created. If you can't use the original user name and password you could try the password recovery techniques outlined at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/321305
Generally the default user account is setup as the administrator. This insures that the default user or owner has the full access needed to grant and limit permissions when creating a new account.
