Hey guys, I just wanted to ask if this would be an ok build, it's a budget build and will be upgrading it more in the future.
here it is:

Cpu: i5 4690k intel
gpu:gtx 660
motherboard: msi z97
psu: 600w corsair 80+ bronze
case: nzxt phantom 410 white
optical: basic asus dvd burner/reader
storage: western digital black 1tb
cpu cooler: cooler master hyper 212 evo
Memory: 8gb of ddr3 ram from ripjaw

Let me know as soon as you can thanks.

GTX 660 is an older GPU. Is this something you're planning on building? Buying? New? Used?

Otherwise looks pretty good.

the GTX 660 will not max settings on most games, even older ones. I'd go with the 960 or a GTX 770, or at least a card from the 700 series.

building

Ok thanks, I am planning on dual 660s, the one I am using I am reusing from my old computer which I just recently got about 5 months ago, I am building this one.

One stronger single card is typically preferred to two weaker ones. See how much money you could get for your 660 on ebay and then see what GPU you could afford after doing that.

Yes that cooler will be fine for overclocking so long as you have a good board for overclocking which the MSI Z97 ones should be!! :good:
